Building Assistance Register for Disabled Persons

Jack Erskine Building: Mathematics & Statistics /
Computer Science & Software Engineering Departments.

To provide for the evacuation of persons with disabilities which would place them at risk during an emergency, a Building Assistance Register for University staff, and others with disabilities who use a building regularly, must be kept by the Building Warden and continuously updated.

The details recorded in the Jack Erskine Building Assistance Register are:

  • name of person requiring assistance;
  • type of disability assistance required;
  • name of person to provide assistance;
  • normal location of disabled person in the building.

If you have such a disability and are a regular user of the Jack Erskine building, housing the departments of Mathematics & Statistics and Computer Science & Software Engineering, or know of someone else in this situation, please contact the Building Warden (or Deputy) to have the details recorded in the Jack Erskine Building Assistance Register.

A consent form for this registration must also be signed.
